There was an original Star Trek episode called "The Day of the Dove" in which an entity was accidentally transported onboard the Enterprise with some Klingon warriors. The entity was depicted with flashing lights and fed on hatred and violence. It trapped an equal number of Federation crew and Klingons in one area of the ship where it caused them to fight each other. But when someone was killed, they did not stay dead. Instead they continued fighting. Once Cpt Kirk and his crew discovered what the entity was doing, they had to convince the Klingons that the fighting had to stop, otherwise they would be stuck eternally killing each other. In the end the Klingons listened, and they stopped the hate and fighting and turned to good spirits and laughter along with Kirk and crew. The entity shrank and fled the ship. I've often thought of this episode when looking at the absurd polarity that has developed in our country and around the world. A round of good spirits and laughter to everyone!
Yes, but first I lent you the book which you devoured. I remember lending it all around the circle we had at that time. Loved getting together in group like that.
What a delightful, radiant wise-woman!
Agreed!!
