“If you find yourself amidst wavering realities and losing something that feels near and dear to your heart, know that this too shall pass. This severing, although painful, is a necessary part of the process. Despite all proof to the contrary, your brightly lit future will arrive because of this experience.” - Chris-Anne, The Light Seer’s Tarot
The Taurus Super New Moon that started this lunar cycle, on April 27th, was the first New Moon of 2025 that signaled GO time. All three inner planets - Mercury, Venus, Mars - are now moving forward, clarity is returning, and momentum is building.
Simultaneously, we’re in a time of profound endings, when you may be navigating loss and grief along with confusion, disorientation, exhaustion and deep mystery. For the next few weeks, Saturn is at the very end of Pisces, indicating the closing of a life chapter, when you’re releasing the past to open space for the new.
The big shift happens on May 24th (or 25th, depending on your time zone), when Saturn enters Aries, the first sign of the zodiac - a massive rebirth and renewal. The last time Saturn was in Aries was April 1996 to February 1999 (with a visit to Taurus from June-October 1998).
Leading up to Saturn’s transition, the Scorpio Full Moon brings to light what’s ready to die, what no longer holds vitality, what you need to surrender and grieve to make space for the new - even if you don’t yet know what the new looks like.
Scorpio is a water sign, connected to your deepest feelings, instincts and desires. The Full Moon illuminates what’s been hidden, what you may have been afraid to see or feel, the secret that wants to be revealed to free up energy for building a more beautiful and fulfilling life.
The Full Moon opposes Uranus, suggesting that the feelings and desires that arise may be surprising or even shocking. This Uranian Full Moon marks a significant turning point, a time of radical change, a separation from the past that sets you up for a quantum leap into the future.
Mental energy can be high, and potentially crazy-making, at this Full Moon. Expansive Jupiter in analytical Gemini squares the Nodes, signaling a crossroads, a choice point between the karmic past and your highest future. At the same time, Mercury - the ruler of Gemini - forms a precise square to transformational Pluto, calling for a purging and liberation from old ideas and perceptions.
The shadow potential? Jupiter in Gemini plus the South Node in Virgo can add up to worry, anxiety, over-analysis and freaking out over the details. Mercury-Pluto can take your mind into dark, obsessive and self-destructive places.
The higher potential? Wisewoman Byron Katie says (paraphrasing): “When I believe my thoughts, I suffer; when I’m willing to question my thoughts, I’m free.” You can work productively with Jupiter in Gemini and Mercury-Pluto by getting curious about your thoughts, asking yourself Byron Katie’s four questions: “Is that true? Can you absolutely know that it’s true? How do you react, what happens, when you believe that thought? Who would you be without that thought?”
And, the Scorpio Full Moon, in cooperation with the Pisces North Node, recommends dropping into the deeper level of feeling beneath the thoughts. FEEL IT ALL. Trust that the strong emotions coming up are serving the healing process, helping to dissolve the past, clear out stagnation, and guide you toward greater aliveness and creativity.
Mars, traditional ruler of Scorpio and presiding deity of this Full Moon, is strong and gaining speed (out of its retro shadow) in fiery Leo - the sign of the heart. Mars in Leo catalyzes the courage to lead with your tender, open and vulnerable heart, to trust and take action inspired by your passion and joy, and to know your power to create a more beautiful world.

Thank you for this download. I spent the entire day of this full moon bawling my eyes out, with all the grief I have been feeling this month (and year!) for relationships and friendships changing beyond repair, and seeing myself having been stuck in my victim hood over and over again. I remembered later in the afternoon that my ‘victimhood’ is not about me actually being victimised; it was a choice. I was choosing to see myself as the victim, instead of the protagonist of the story. I then resolved once again to feel my feelings, face my fears and remember that I have agency. I choose instead to be the peaceful warrior.
The question we all need to ask “is that thought actually mine?” There is a reason to ask this, yet it is a potentially a very disturbing topic. This question relates to what you wrote, and I would like to discuss this directly if you are open to this
