Over the past few decades, astrology has become increasingly popular and there’s no shortage of astro-information available in internet-land. But with this proliferation, there’s also a massive shadow and distortion in terms of how astrology is often presented and practiced.

With Pluto in Aquarius for the next 20 years, I expect astrology to gain even more traction in the mainstream, and I also expect we’ll see more of its shadow side.

Astrology is a tool that can be wielded to support your helplessness or your power, your fear of life or your excitement about what's possible, your enslavement or your liberation.

Inspired by the motivation to train more future astrologers to work with the Cosmic Science for healing, liberation and empowerment, I’m super-excited to announce a new mentorship program.

The 7-month mentorship starts in May and provides heart-centered, experiential learning in a small-group setting (12 participants max). Our focus will be working with astrology as a tool for personal and collective healing and transformation, and supporting each participant to develop their own unique approach to the art of astrology.

This program is for those who want to become professional astrologers, and to participate you will need to have basic chart interpretation skills – i.e., a working knowledge of planets, signs, houses and aspects.

I’ve been teaching astrology since 2003, and from 2011-2014 led a mentorship program in Portland, Oregon. Since then, I’ve taught many online astrology classes. Several of my students are now practicing astrology professionally, and you can read their feedback here.

I didn’t expect to take a 10-year hiatus from teaching another mentorship! But to be honest, I was navigating a lot of personal life intensity, and didn’t have the bandwidth to take on a long-term teaching commitment.

Now I feel re-inspired to share my passion for astrology, mentor another group of astro-geeks, and counter the fear-based nonsense I see in the astro-world. Plus, Pluto just moved into my 9th house (teaching!) so the timing is perfect.
